Live it!!!
Shelley called me at 8 in the morning and said her parents were out for a day and invited me to her place. I would never have gone if she wouldn't have said "I have plans". I went to her place and expected that I would have to make arrangements for a party where all the 'most wanted' guys would be coming. We'll dance, eat, hang out, may be sleep over. With all these berserk thoughts I reached her house. I found her dressed this time and she was looking neat in her well done hairs, red t-shirt and blue denim instead of her greys and sloppy pants. It was just unlike her 'who cares' kind of look. This was the very first surprise of the morning. Her call wasn't that usual though. She never called except for asking the homework. I used to think, she had nothing to discuss like her date, her fight with boyfriend, her family or her job problems.I was astonished by the way she behaved, I heard "listen, I wanna enjoy every single moment I can" instead of "hi". Anyways, the day was going good so far. She made sandwiches for the breakfast. She showed the paintings she made! I never knew that she painted and painted so well was another surprise for me! While looking at her paintings I realized that she wasn't what I thou
The word seemed to have meant nothing to her but they were spine-chilling for me. It said a girl named Shelley, 16 was admitted yesterday for a suicide case and was saved after a long operation. Before I could ask anything, my mom handed our local newspaper with the news 'A suicidal case came to the Central Hospital'. My friend was now with her parents and there were some experts who were trying to bring her out of that trauma . Her neighbor asked me to bring cold milk extra ice. She sat carelessly on the couch and picked the phone. She dropped the receiver and now she was as scared as I was. I struggled to ask her if she had a problem. That ride to the hospital is still the unforgettable ride I ever had, one moment she seemed to be sinking the other moment she was forcing herself to breathe but something in her was taking her to the other side of life. It was already an hour she was inside, I banged on the door and ordered her to come out . But, I had to believe that it was a succession of the surprises I was getting since I met her. And this is the reason why she took all the medicines in the first aid box. I found her on the floor semi-conscious.
