Skewed Reality in Macbeth

Images in the play Macbeth appear in just about every scene. There are also terrifying hallucinations that occur. The characters in the play sometimes have trouble distinguishing between fantasy and reality. Whenever there is a fantastical, skewed image, it is a result of guilt or foreboding evil. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are the characters to which these chimerical sights appear. The two main characters are the center of controversial devilry happenings. Hallucinations can be caused by a number of things. Drugs, Schizophrenia, mania, kidney failure, fatigue, or grief are among the many. Macbeth and Lady Macbeth suffer from both grief and fatigue, although there is no proof against them suffering from any other ailments, they also suffer from guilt. Whenever there is a question of the authenticity of an image, the two are affected by guilt or grief. The first unreal image is that of the bearded witches.
