What Society is Today
Our society today is very diverse. It changes very rapidly and keeps blending differentaspects of peoples' cultures together. For that very reason, our society is full ofcontroversy. There is a lot of racism, arguments, protests, and contradicting beliefs. Therefore, many people are not as safe as they would like to be. I believe this quote byAnne Frank best summarizes my overall perception of the world: "In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. Isimply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, Like Anne Frank, I believe that even though people can be so different inappearance and mind, mostly all people are good at heart and all want happiness. That iswhat everyone would naturally strive for in life; happiness. Everyone has that in commonno matter how smart you are or what you look like. Everyone starts out having a goodheart. It just depends on the person as to how long they keep that good heart. People
Without hope, there is nochance of recovery. These strong factors can shape a whole person'scharacter and perception of the world. People, good and badwilled, make unwise decisions and do immature things out of fear, love, loyalty, stupidity,pressure to perform, anger, blind ambition, and many other contributing forces. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. Theseforces and feelings can make a person think that he is doing the right thing when everyoneelse knows he is not. I want my kids to have many different kindsof friends like I do, and not to stereotype people purely on their appearance or what theyhear on the playground. Judging someone by their appearance and looking down on them is text bookracism. Sometimes, the hurt ones are very close and dear people to them. Other people with trulygood hearts are smart enough to find happiness through positive ways by helping peopleand working hard at something they like to do. I want to make people more aware to what other people have tooffer in exchange for just a little of their time. However, people with good hearts make mistakes too. That way, they can overcome whatever tragedy maystrike and get through it over time. Manypeople are stereotyped by their physical appearance, or their family, or their race, andmany other ridiculous things. It is just a person's state of mind at the time that determines howrighteous their actions are at that time. Previous generations have left us with very few outlooks on life, religion, and culture,telling us that our own in particular way is the right way and best way.
