Athens idea of a democracy was very important in the history our government. He aimed at improving Athens economy. Cleisthenes, another reformer convinced the Athenians to except another series of laws that made Athens a full democracy. The Spartans concentrated mainly on there military. Even though a good strong army is important a good education is critical.
