In preparation for the conversion to Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS), this report will act as the basis for: 1) presenting the status of implementation and 2) the timing of the implementation processes. Status: (11/10/98) Agreement among the Associate Medical Center Director, the Chiefs-of-Staff of both divisions, and the ACOS/Ambulatory Care that 2 Clinical Applications Coordinators positions should be created and filled
Actions: 12/17/98 PDs submitted to Acting Medical Center Director for submission to our VISN Director; 1/19/99 notice received of VISN approval; 2/5/99 PDs submitted for classification with a request that this be completed by 3/1/99
Target completion date for CACs to be on duty: April 1, 1999
Outcome: May 1, 1999 – three CACs (one reassigned staff member and two detailed staff members) begin their assignments; the staff member who has been the Acting CAC since initial OE/RR implementation and will continue in this capacity as an ongoing resource to the CACs
