Reading Log for the bible
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." -This passage goes on, but I think this is the most widely recognized passage of the bible. It is a great opening that shows the power of God right off. -This was always a favorite stories. I had never read the bible before, so this was the first time I actually heard the original version. -Well, I have seen The 10 Commandments and The Prince of Egypt. So, just like Noah, it was interesting to read the actually story and see how it has been changed for the purpose of a entertaining story. "But Moses pleaded, 'O Lord, I'm just not a good speaker." I find this funny just because Moses really didn't want to be the one to be the one to speak in front of the Pharaoh. He even starts arguing with God.
Mark 4:3 Repeat of another story from Matthew- This is almost the exact same thing, word for word. Mark 14:66 Peter denies Jesus -Again, repeating, repeating, repeating. Mark 4:21 Last Supper -In this version, Jesus does not point out which one of the disciples will betray him, like he did in Matthew. Just two sentences telling what happened to him. they will prevent you from smashing into the rocks below. That is what this passage made me think about. Matthew 4:5 "Then Satan took him to Jerusalem to the roof of the temple. Matthew 20:1 Short story on helping people and being happy with what you get. " -Man I hate these listings of ancestors. Matthew 27:4 "Then he threw the money onto the table and went out of the Temple and hanged himself. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. Exodus 35:4 The building of the Tabernacle -This was defiantly one of the most boring sections of the bible so far.
