Intelligence

Intelligence is the ability to perceive more of what you know. Every individual has a certain amount of intelligence, but that intelligence can only be introduced to a group or community. You only get smarter when people share what they think or know. In the excerpt Possible Lives: The Promise of Education in America, by Mike Rose, indicates just what intelligence means in the eyes of a classroom. It is the many young individuals of the world that come together, (no matter what ethical background they come from) as a group to share and contribute their reasoning of intelligence. Many Communities are people of many different nationalities that come together to share common interests with one another. You learn from other people as other people learn from you. It is a human chain of exchanging information. Each individual brings their own knowledge and as a group expand on its meaning. Di

The only way in life anyone will learn, is from one another. God did not create just one person to teach everything to. No one in this world knows everything. Mike Rose visits this classroom to observe the very meaning of intelligence. Students are laughing and having fun, most of all they are "INVOLVED" in what they are creating. During our class discussion and writing that we did previous to this assignment, I can see how many people view their thoughts of intelligence. Joining the forces of not only person, but a group as a whole. fferent minds working together accomplish and perceive new ways of knowledge. My mother did not gain all of her knowledge herself, from the help and ideas of many people did she gain this knowledge to pass down to me. From just that one visit He saw how students from different work backgrounds join together on what they like to do and construct creative new ideas. Where as Mike wrote about how intelligent philosophers were. In my group of Erica, Mike and I, Erica and I shared the same view of our mother to whom we thought was the most intelligent person we have ever met. When different ideas and opinions are shared with one another the more knowledge and interest is gained. As we spoke about why we thought this it made me realize how we gain such knowledge, not only from one person, but from the help of another. No matter how good of a grade you get, how much you read and write, not communicating with other people about different ideas will get you know where.
