Death Penalty

             The death penalty currupts, and shows barbaric examples to our society. To fight the war against murders and brutal serial killers by murdering more people is a concept I do understand for many reasons. The Death Penalty is a penalty that does not have a lot of positive feedback for our society because of the changes of prisoner's character, it puts the killer's out of their misery, and many have been proven innocent after being proven guilty. Those who fight to kill their own species for justice will say "An Eye for an Eye" but I say hypocritical.
             A change in character is not un-normal while a man sits on death row, examples of this would be first a couple in mid-western America had their daughter killed in a poor part of Africa while she was there on vacation. At first they did have hatred towards the two killers who did such a horible crime but they were a religious couple and instead of wasting their time wishing two would die they nearly wanted to help them. They went over to africa and set up clinics for the people in that town and helped hundreds of people. The two men were introduced to God by the couple and after they were released they asked for forgiveness and ofcoarse it was given. Secound it is important to understand that 1 in every 3 prisoners in death row except some kind of religion in which puts them in remorse for what they have done(____). Finnally whether excepted a religion or not 80% of prisoners ask for forgiveness(____). A change in character is a change of ones life-style, and to kill a m!
             an who asked for forgiveness should bother your concience.
             Putting a man out of his missery is not a punishment that should be aplied simply because of first of all 72% of the prisoners would rather die then have life in prison with out bail(____). So why give a punishment the men prefer? Second there could be required life long work given to these prisoners that could do much more ...
