A Trip to the Mongolia Prairie

             The Mongolian prairie is one of the miracles of nature. Walking on the prairie, you deeply thank the power of the nature. However, the magic of this prairie is not only the view, but also the special culture found here. To be more specific, the special culture is that of the Wolf – residents who believe wolves are gods that protect residents here –and on the prairie. This special culture stimulated me to discover more about wolf: why they have been seen as evil, what they really live in the ecosystem, and why they are necessary to the world.
             In most of the world, the wolf plays the bad animal role all of the time. One example is a story about a wolf pretending to be a grandmother and trying to eat a little girl with a red hat from I was a litter girl. Wolves have established a bad reputation totally. They eat sheep, deer, and even humans. Therefore, hunters will never pass up a chance to kill a wolf. In addition, wolves live together. They live in strong groups. Moreover, they are ferocious, tricky, and smart. All of these characteristics make wolves harder to hunt, and make more people want to hunt them
             Historically, many societies killed wolves in order to protect other animals. However, residents on the Mongolian prairie found out that killing big numbers of wolves did not protect their home. In fact, it is important to have wolves on the prairie. The prairie is huge and kind. Many kinds of animals live there. The Wild Yellow Sheep are one of them. Usually, a flock of sheep has more than one thousand members. Since they do not have many natural enemies, their numbers have increases. The problem is that the large flocks eat a lot of grass each day and remove all the grass from wherever they graze. In these grazed areas, the Mongols do not have enough grass to feed their own sheep and cows. Only wolf hunts the Wild Yellow Sheep.
