road rage
Road rage is apparently a major problem in America. I didn't realize quite the extend of this problem until I started researching for this report. About 1,800 incidents of road rage on America's streets were reported in 1996. And these are simply the reported incidents. Many more certainly go unnoticed in the great expanse of streets out there. This is a far more serious situation than I previously thought. Many "experts" are already trying to find the source of this problem. Many specialists contribute this problem to nationwide social problems. They say that hard times are causing our roadway outbursts. Sometimes small troubles in the economy can frustrate many enough to take out their anger on other motorists. Some people simply jump off a building to avoid going broke. At least then they are only hurting themselves. Others attribute the rash behavior to social decline in our nation. People these days have less respect for others and are not taught enough !manners, they say. Even if our country has lost some moral standards, it is not enough a precedent for this to be happening. Stress is always considered a cause no matter what "expert" is asked. Our country has too much stress right now. Eve
Luckily it did not happen to me, I was just a bystander. This also goes against what Chico has said in class. After a minute of his vicious ponderings, he asked the other man if they could leave the scene. I, even at such a young age, have already witnessed road rage. I thought that that would be the last I saw of them as I went on my way. The smaller man picked up a large pole, I don't know where he got it, and started swinging it defensively. It! would be good to start early in driving life by giving students less homework. This was the worst case of road rage that I had ever seen, and I've lived in L. The small man was afraid !of what would happen to him if he slowed down and the large man seemed to be in fear of soon to be there cops. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**none.
