             What are myths and legends? Myths and legends are stories that have been told in the past centuries, and have been very popular in the world for a very long time. There are controversies of the stories that are told of myths and legends. There are a number of similarities and differences between myths and legends. A very important difference between myths and legends are that myths are stories that explains objects or events in the real world that usually result from some phenomena or force like a god. Legends are stories that can be true and that can also be false. In other words, legends are more real than myths.
             Most of King Arthur's adventures seemed more real than The Greek Myths. The Greek Myths had stories that were more unbelievable and unrealistic than the stories about King Arthur. An example can be in the story of Orpheus it mentions things that seem very unrealistic. One part in the story was when Orpheus was able to use his music to help him through any difficulties that he faced and when he dealt with Hades, who was known as the god of the underworld. These things that I have mentioned are how most Greek myths are about. They could have been
             created to seem unbelievable but though, exciting. However, as for legends such as those of King Arthur, they were told more realistically except for some of the stories. King Arthur was on fact known to be a realistic character. Many of the stories that were about King Arthur described how great a king he was. King Arthur was more realistic because it explained in stories like King Arthur and His Knights of the Round Table how he was the son of the famous King Arthur. However, there were stories about Merlin the Wizard and his role that he played in the life of King Arthur.
