Alcohol is the most used and abused drug in the world today. It is responsible for
almost fifty percent of all automobile deaths in America. Alcoholics are three to five
times more likely to die in a car accident, than a non drinker. The excessive use of
alcohol by a person over a long period of time is known as alcoholism. Alcohol used
over a long period of time takes its toll on the body, excessive alcohol in the body
causes malfunctions in the liver, pancreas, and almost every other major organ in the
body. The causes of alcoholism are few, but each has a stranglehold on thousands and

is vulnerable to alcohol and feels uneasy about a situation, drinking is a way that this
