With the release of EBSCOhost 3.1, users will have access to PDF images. These images will

graphical representation of those charts, equations and graphs that are difficult to represent in
ASCII text. For this reason, many of EBSCO's peer-reviewed titles will be offered in PDF
format, including the Asian Business Review, Foreign Affairs, the British Journal of
Psychology and the Journal of Behavioral Science among hundreds of others.
PDF content will also be available on a number of EBSCO products: the Academic Search
product line (Academic Search™ Select, Academic Search™ Elite, Academic Search™ Plus
and Academic Search™ International); the Business Source product line (Business Source®
Elite, Business Source® Plus and Business Source® Premier); and on the company's
sophisticated corporate search service, Corporate ResourceNet.
Knowing that bandwidth and hardware varies among its customers, EBSCO will be offering a
combination of black and white, and gray scale PDF images to ensure fast download times for all.
Library administrators will be able to control access to PDF images with the user profiling options
available with EBSCOadmin, the administrative component of EBSCOhost.
