A bad experince
I never thought I would be able to tell a story like this. I am not a troublemaker. I thought jail was for people, who did serious crimes like assault, burglary, & murder. The first time I was arrested and sent to jail was one of the most degrading, abhorrent and expensive experiences of my life. First, I use to be what some would call a reckless driver. Friend would always comment, “Where did you buy your license from”. I was a chronic speeder okay, I had a lead foot had a lead foot I received three speeding tickets one right after the other. I did not know that the State of Illinois would suspend your license if you received three or more moving violations in a twelve-moth period. Unbeknown, this is what exactly what happened to me. Out driving one day, I am pulled over by the police. The officer asked for my . . .
I told the officer my license was on a ticket he went back to his car. This was a very expensive lesson for me that will never happen again. All together I was out of about six hundred dollars. He put the cuffs on my wrist and told me I was being arrest for driving on a suspend license. He called a to truck and they towed my car away. I repaid my dad two hundred dollars for bailing me out of jail. The first thing my dad asked me was I okay. I was in there for two hours scared to death until my parent bailed me out. He did not want to hear anything I had to say. I said to myself “ Oh Hell no never again”. They came back to the car one on the driver’s side and on e on the passenger side. The officer on the drivers side ask me to step out of the car then he asked me to put m hand s behind my back. Second, He put me in a cell with regular criminals; guys who had did hard crimes like rape, burglary and armed robbery.
