             The cultures around the world are very different and very much the alike at the same time. The way people live around the world depends on the norms internalized by their socities. The given circumstances that differ around the world limit individuals chances for fortune and life chances. There are endless questions that can be asked to compare or contrast culture from culture and nation from nation, but the fact that there are so many similarities amidst mankind should enspire cultural relativism and spread the attitude of multiculturalism. From the United States of America to other nations such as Iran and South Africa culture is learned and it should be shared through cultural diffusion.
             A man by the name of Duncan Craig claimed that though there are a lot of differences between South Africa and America the concrete aspects in norms express significant similarities. Duncan Craig, the brother of SMU freshman Alistar Craig, is 26 and also attended Southern Methodist University. Like his brother Alistar, Duncan was a scholarship track star on the SMU Track Team. He now works as a and lives on his own here in Dallas, Texas. Duncan expressed how fortunate he and his brother actually were to gain a free ride and further their education at a prestige University such as Southern Methodist. "Like here there are apparent problems and struggles in South Africa its just more currupt back home", is what Duncan replied after being asked to compare life in general. Things that are blown out of proportion in America, such as Bill Clinton smoking grass or Green Peace, are basically insignificant to the people in South Africa compared to the struggles they see every day.!
