Teenage Pregnancy is a very drastic problem for the US. The United States is the unfortunate leader of teen pregnancy and births in the western industrialized world. Each and every year nearly one million teenage girls become pregnant. 80% percent of these pregnancies are unintended and 79% of these pregnancies are to unmarried teens. How to prevent teenage pregnancy has been a question for many years. Statistics have been running wild trying to keep up with the teenage generation. Since 1972 the overall pregnancy rate among teenage girls rose 23%, sticking this generation with status of the most teenage pregnancies and births. Teens often fail to realize that giving life to a newborn child is supposed to be a privilege. Many teens take having a baby as some sort of joke. They believe it will never happen to them but the reality is, every time you have sex there is a possibility that the sperm will find it's way to the egg.
