In both the book and movie montag had to go and burn his own house. Montag’s wife was in the movie but her name was changed from Mildred to Linda. In the book they met on the street near his house whereas in the movie they met on the subway. He was sent to burn it because his wife turned him in for having books in the house. While burning his own house he snapped and burned Captain Beatty to death. g that didn’t like and chased Montag. One similarity was that it had the same ending.
