Due to the fact that everything in science has some kind of explanation, which is factual. Which in turns brings up the question of how everything came to be as it is today. Ignoring the creation of the space, stars, and planets, the question is how did life on this planet come to be, and has it changed. The answer to this question is that all life started as single cell organisms. And that over time these cells evolved. All modern day scientists believe in evolution, because it is a fact. The term theory is no longer appropriate when referring to evolution, because evolution is a fact. There is evidence to support this as well. Scientists have gone out and found fossils of the same animals and can see how they have changed over time. There is no contradiction to this. Evolution is a crystal clear fact. But the mechanisms that bring evolution about still need clarification, and are not proven. To begin further discussion a clear definition is needed for evolution. Another point is shown that these birds all have a common ancestry. The appendix had the purpose in early humans to help with the digestion of rocks. These organs are called vestigial organs. Bacteria was first, followed by fish and marine plants. So a favorable variation is an adaptation. This is because Darwin had a large amount of substantial proof for his explanations. How does an organism gain or release its adaptations? No idea. Other organisms have adaptations, which in past times have served their purpose and are now useless. Next came insects, and amphibians, followed by land plants. Any reasonable person who is not clouded by religious ideas or pure stubbornness can comprehend this. In conclusion the theory of Evolution as presented by Charles Darwin has had a great impact on the world today. It has caused many debates between religious authorities and those from the scientific community. So why is it that dinosaurs and other animals are extinct if evolution allows an organism to change and adapt? The answer is natural selection. Charles Darwin is the first man to receive widely acknowledged credit for evolution. As stated above evolution is a fact, all species changed in some way over time.
