same sex marriage should be legalized
Homosexuals are an integral part of the society. "Every second family in the country has a member who is essentially homosexual and many more people regularly have homosexual experiences."(stephen). Today, many gays and lesbians come out of the closet and demand the same rights that heterosexuals take for granted. The medical studies confirm that being gay is not a matter of choice or preference, but a deviation from normal sexuality that lies in genes and hardly can be changed. Homosexuals do not decide their own sexuality, nor do heterosexuals. Therefore, homosexual community should receive the same respect and civil rights as the heterosexual community, one of these rights being marriage.Homosexuality is a term created by 19th century. Theorist to describe a sexual and emotional interest in members of one's own sex. Today a person is often said to have a homosexual or a heterosexual orientation, a description intended t defuse some of the long-standing sentiment among many Westerners that homosexuality is immoral or pathological. Homosexual practices are not afforded any special moral or psychological significance in many other cultures. A survey of 190 societies around the world (1951) reported that homosexual practi
Callahan questions, "Doesn't it seem a confirmation of the Christians teaching on the goodness of monogamous marriage that gay couples eschew promiscuity and desire to regularize and ritualize their loving commitment to one another"(Callahan, 6-8). "The essence of this right is the private intimate association of consenting adults who want to share their lives and commitment with each other and that same-sex couples have just do much intimacy and need for marital privacy as heterosexual couples; and that laws allowing heterosexuals, but not same-sex, couples to marry infringe upon and discriminate against this fundamental rights" (Journal). Although homosexuals live under the same constitution, they are not afforded the same rights as heterosexuals. The open interest of sex is known as bisexuality. Th!is woman is being discriminated against because she did not have the option of marrying her partner. Any two people who are in love with one another and are ready to bond themselves legally as well as emotionally have the right to get married whether they are gay or straight. "Indeed Christ loves and includes gays in his kingdom. However, some disagree with this passage, and its meaning as well as its teachings. Because the family tree suggested that the homosexuality be inherited from the mothers, the scientists focused in on the X chromosome. Women get two X-chromosomes, one from each parent. Homosexual relationships are more than just sharing feelings with the person they love. As much as the future may look gloomy for many gays and lesbians all over the world, there are remarkable changes in public opinion and officials' attitudes toward homosexuals in some countriesMarriage is an institution long recognized by the government under the right to pursue happiness, and denying that right to any couple, regardless of gender, is unconstitutional. The bible has absolutely no standing in American law, and because it doesn't, no one has the right to impose rules on anyone else simply because of something they perceive to be mandated by the bible. Instead, the hospitals are usually forced by state l!aw to go to families who may be strange from them for decades. The Supreme Court has long recognized that the constitution of marriage is one of the rights guaranteed to all Americans by the constitution.
