5 major religions of the world

On July 16, 1969, at 9:32 a.m., at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, three astronauts were about to embark on the first manned lunar landing. These brave astronauts were Michael Collins, Edwin E. Aldrin Jr., and Neil A. Armstrong. Little did these three astronauts know that this space adventure would change the world's perspective of space travel forever.
On launch pad 39A sat Apollo 11-the first space rocket that ever landed on the moon. On top of this enormous piece of equipment sat the three astronauts. The command module pilot was Michael Collins. Collins would not land on the moon instead he would orbit around the moon keeping track of the other astronaut's progress. Collins was a test pilot and he had already been in space on the Gemini 10 mission and had walked in space. The Co-pilot of the lunar module was Edwin E. Aldrin but the other astronauts called him by his nickname "Buzz". Aldrin was a thirty-nine year old pilot in the Air Force. Like Michael Collins he had also been in space before on the Gemini 12 mission and he walked in space longer than any other man. The mission commander Neil A. Armstrong would be the first man to ever set foot on the moon. Like the rest of his fellow astronauts Armstrong was a Navy pilot and he had also been in space as the commander of the Gemini 8 mission.

Millions of people around the world were watching and waiting for the moment to come when the Apollo 11 spacecraft would leave the safety of earth and enter the realm of space. The three astronauts waited patiently for the count down to start on their 218,986-mile voyage to the moon. The Saturn V rocket powered by super-cooled liquid oxygen and hydrogen started to come alive as all of...
