VIDEO REPORT–A PORTRAIT OF EARTH–NEW WORLDS
VIDEO REPORT–A PORTRAIT OF EARTH–NEW WORLDSThe earth is said to be in a state of perpetual change, meaning everything is constantly changing. Some examples of these changes are: · Volcanos are constantly erupting and by this they are changing the landscape around them. · Continental drift is happening as we speak. · Mountains are growing and shrinking due to erosion. · Climates are changing; an example is rain forests are turning into deserts. · Animals are changing for the environments. Natural environment Interactions between spheres Adaptations of animals a. Africa Africa, the arctic, Brazil and the middle east all have interactions between spheres. For example in Africa the atmosphere and the lithosphere combine to make cracks in the ground. · Animals don’t drink, they get water through food· They learn were water is · They change for the environment by losing fur and fat· They retain moister· Don’t urinate b. Arctic · Animals have grown fat, blubber and fur· Humans get f . . .
People started to build houses to get out of the rain and the cold. But that was not going to do; we introduced animals like rabbits and peacocks. · We cut down trees because they are in the way or we need the wood. This is a flow chart on why this happened: Eaten by Eaten by 3c. The problem here is we have nowhere to put it all. But then what were they to do about food? Normally they would travel from place to place using what they could and then moving on to the next place. The “World Conservation Strategy” is that we shouldn’t exploit natural resources so that we destroy them. This causes several problems, we are flooding a the river and stoping it flow. This mainly affected the biosphere and the lithosphere, with some animals getting kicked out of there home and some being fenced into a new one. This stops the water getting down stream for animals to drink and fish to live in. First they started to chop down trees so they had space to build shelter and plant crops nearby. Asia has now only got half as many trees as it had before people interfered · We dam rivers to get electricity. · We pollute the water mostly with oil spills. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Bibliography** none .
