What is Abortion

             Abortion is the termination of pregnancy and expulsion of an embryo or of a fetus that is incapable of survival. The term abortion is used in many ways and for many instances or reasons. Abortion is a monstrosity among American's in the world today. But what does the word abortion really mean? It is a crime of procuring or performing an illegal procedure. Killing an immature organism is really what abortion is all about. Today it is viewed, especially by teens, as something helpful if one has an inability to take care of a child. Some people today choose to have the child then have it aborted which is the arrest is one's development so it remains imperfect or distorted. It is said in the Bible that, "If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follows: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. And if any mischief follow, then thou shall give life for life" (Ex.21:22-23). For this is why abortion today is a wrongful sin and a monstrosity among the American people.
             There are many types of ways you can go about in having an abortion. Some of those ways are: suction curettage, dilation and curettage, methotrexate, and partial birth abortion. Suction curettage is a type of abortion where after the cervix is dilated using dilator rods, a powerful suction tube is inserted into the womb. The tube pierces the sac around the baby, and sucks out all the amniotic fluid. The suction is then placed on the baby's body and tears the baby's body into pieces.
             Another form of abortion is called dilation and curettage. This way is not the most commonly used but still effective.
