             An ecosystem is a group of different species interacting with one another and with there none living environment of matter and energy. Some examples of natural ecosystems are crop fields, farm ponds, reservoirs, and lakes behind dams. Basically everywhere on the planet is an ecosystem. A little patch of grass in the middle of a city can be considered and ecosystem for some animals. Some natural ecosystems are woods, desert, marsh, fields, and grasslands. Natural ecosystems are areas that are made by nature and not built by man. The majority of human activities are dangerous to the environment. Just simply getting up and driving to work is bad for the environment because of your car and what it releases. Going out in a boat is very bad for the ocean due to the oil and gas that is released from the engine. Aerosol cans are very bad for the environment because of what they release. Just common household chores are bad because of certain chemicals used and the disposal of!
             those chemicals. Rain forests are considered so central to our planetary ecosystem because they produce oxygen for the entire world to breath. As 70% of the nations cures for illness come from the rain forests.
             B. Describe two of the solar technologies discussed by Eisenbiss in his essay on page 100 in Global Resources. Explain the comparative merits and demerits of these two technologies.
