American Influence
It is obvious to see that America is a huge force in the world today. America controls much of the worlds wealth and it is by far the strongest nation in the world. However, I believe that the American ideals have much more impact on the world than any of America's wealth or power. Our constitution has been around a short time in contrast to how long other nations of the world have existed. Yet many of these ancient countries are adopting in a way the American constitution. Many of these nations such as Germany, England, and Japan have accepted the United Nation Universal Declaration of Human Rights. These nations are a couple hundred years older than the United States of America and yet they have accepted a almost exact replica of the United States Bill of Rights. In article 2 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights it states"Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, color, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore,
Since many of these rights help people be happier and being happy can lead to being productive countries will attempt to make these rights become life for many people so the country will be more prosperous. Many of the other amendments show a contrast between the two documents. The Chinese people after seeing America from a distance have seen the benefits of what can happen if human rights are not voided. The American Government and the United Nation doesn't agree with this view in China. " As I see it this amendment basically makes it so no matter who you are you should have the same basic right as everyone else. People are happier when they don't need to worry about theirs life and dignity being trampled !on. " Sooner or later these people will have something happen and there will be a change. Many of the amendments on slavery have been a basis of these Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Now Americans are beginning to befriend these countries with no respect for human rights. This turns the people to liking the new form of government much more than the old. China's total disregard for human life, comfort, and happiness is often an issue in international politics.
