I do agree with this statement, as I believe that if God gave us the right to life then only God can take this right away from us. In Genesis 1 :27 it states that God created us in his image and we are therefore like him and are part of him. We should never take advantage of this and should respect the right that others have to life. Christians are prominent in anti-abortion, anti-euthanasia and anti-war movements as they believe killing is morally wrong and should be avoided.

. The Catholic Church declares, by the law of God, to deliberately take the life of an innocent human being is an evil act in itself, no matter what the circumstances. The Roman Catholic Church commands absolute respect for human life. In Luke 12 : 6-7 it states all life deserves respect and as Christians we are asked to forgive others.
Our God is the source of all life and he blesses human life in a way that is special. It pronounces absolutely wrong all taking of human life, from its beginning in the womb until the end that God, not man, has set for it. Every action to promote and protect human life is an action on behalf of God. As in abortion the mother should take care of and protect her child, and we should do the same with our own lives.
Human life is precious, Exodus 20: 13 and therefore God asks us to take care of it and protect it until the day he calls us into his presence. All people are of value to God, whatever their ability or disability, so we cannot take life as if we were disposable objects. The Pope too has spoken out about such treatments in our world.
