Literary Analysis For "Unforgiven"
Purpose: My purpose was to choose one of the one-hundred American greatest movies and analyze it.Plan: To identify how the director created the film, and what different eye catching things the director put in the movie to make it so interesting.Field study: As I observed the movie, "Unforgiven," I looked at the different elements to analyze this movie. I looked at some of the characters, lighting, conflict, and the choice of color instead of black and white screen. "Unforgiven" is an action pack, cowboy western type of movie. William was sitting in the saloon waiting for his friends. William was known all across the plains. Yet, this movie needed a better plot. " He changed dramatically throughout the movie. Bill knew that he was lying, so they all kicked the crap out of him. Any man that came through the town he beat them till they were almost dead, because he knew about the reward that the whores were paying. If it had made in black and white, then I would have expected all the killing. For instance, the three cowboys road into town and didn't see the sign "no fire arms beyond this point.
