Hannibal film review
1 Does this film make me feel in harmony? I for one would never have chosen to see this movie simply by knowing what it is about.My personal opinion to this question can you the answer in very simple terms. I do notwish to thank you for sending the class to watch this movie, I don't prefer the movietheater over renting films and relaxing in my own home, I haven't been to the movies inwell over a year and going again to this movie was particularly stimulating. It did notmake me feel in harmony for the simple fact that all the scenes viewed in this film goagainst my personal beliefs, I despise guns, drugs, police agents and especially peoplewith a high degree of psychosis; especially if they practice cannibalism. I am obligated to say that this film does indeed posses a lot of beauty, not only inthe obvious historical scenic shots of Valencia, Italy, but also in the beautiful wayHannibal's sick little mind worked. I know this because I didn't and I understand the relationship between thetwo main characters. it was simply too explicit and crude but, there is some sort of rhythm in thefilm is obviously a sequel and yet you can watch it and understand it with out having seenthe first film. that's tricky, I already defined the way to criticizes art, which is youcan't, you can only give your own opinion as to whether you enjoy it or not. 4 Does the film make me feel as if I am seeing something in balance? Something with balance can be explained in simpler terms as 50- 50, so I guess you couldsay this film has balance, because it's not about killing all the time, there are sceneswhere there is a lot of history being discussed which could be positive for those notenjoying the movie, and there are other scenes where there is nature displayed in it'snatural state, so we don't see the same things over and over, so yes there is balance. 5 Is the film pleasing to my senses, even if the subject is not to my liking? I must admit that throughout the beginning of the film it did not do a good job to capturemy immediate interest, but as the movie began to evolve I found I had no choice but topay attention for I needed to do this assignment due today. 3 Is the film beautiful, even if the subject is ugly and obscene? I am an art student so I am supposed to know how to judge art, and the trick is you can't,because what I consider art may or will likely not be what a room full of other peoplewill consider art. So I watched the moviewithout puking although I did have to turn my head a couple of times, because I foundthe scenes to disturbing. For artisticpurpose I must say, I can't find it, maybe it's there.
