Hannibal film review

I for one would never have chosen to see this movie simply by knowing what it is about.

My personal opinion to this question can you the answer in very simple terms. I do not

wish to thank you for sending the class to watch this movie, I don't prefer the movie

theater over renting films and relaxing in my own home, I haven't been to the movies in

well over a year and going again to this movie was particularly stimulating. It did not

make me feel in harmony for the simple fact that all the scenes viewed in this film go

against my personal beliefs, I despise guns, drugs, police agents and especially people

with a high degree of psychosis; especially if they practice cannibalism. Dear God,

professor; this movie was plainly an simply gross!

I have managed to maintain an open mind throughout this film, to keep me from

I am obligated to say that this film does indeed posses a lot of beauty, not only in

the obvious historical scenic shots of Valencia, Italy, but also in the beautiful way

Hannibal's sick little mind worked. I know this because I didn't and I understand the relationship between the

two main characters. it was simply too explicit and crude but, there is some sort of rhythm in the

film is obviously a sequel and yet you can watch it and understand it with out having seen

the first film. that's tricky, I already defined the way to criticizes art, which is you

can't, you can only give your own opinion as to whether you enjoy it or not.

4 Does the film make me feel as if I am seeing something in balance?

Something with balance can be explained in simpler terms as 50- 50, so I guess you could

say this film has balance, because it's not about killing all the time, there are scenes

where there is a lot of history being discussed which could be positive for those not

enjoying the movie, and there are other scenes where there is nature displayed in it's

natural state, so we don't see the same things over and over, so yes there is balance.

5 Is the film pleasing to my senses, even if the subject is not to my liking?

I must admit that throughout the beginning of the film it did not do a good job to capture

my immediate interest, but as the movie began to evolve I found I had no choice but to

pay attention for I needed to do this assignment due today.

3 Is the film beautiful, even if the subject is ugly and obscene?

I am an art student so I am supposed to know how to judge art, and the trick is you can't,

because what I consider art may or will likely not be what a room full of other people

will consider art. So I watched the movie

without puking although I did have to turn my head a couple of times, because I found

the scenes to disturbing. For artistic

purpose I must say, I can't find it, maybe it's there.
