. Napster is the future in obtaining music. songs on the album of certain artists. It also makes them aware of these bands' new albums. Napster also sponsors many favorite bands on their sites. Punk is known as music played for the pure love of music. When they only like one song on it, they never buy anything by this artist anymore.
Ironically, Napster has been known as a corporate monster in the music industry; however, it actually helps create revenue. Napster's page gives them coverage without making them sell-outs because they are not giving into the advertising that is done purely out of greed for money. It seems that without a known record label or lots of touring, it is almost impossible to obtain prestige. Already paid-for facilities let the bands and record companies make solid profit. Supporting unknown artists and bringing them to record companies, Napster is providing money for them both.
