Macbeth

“Macbeth” written by William Shakespeare, is seen as a powerful study of a heroic individual who commits an evil act and that plays an enormous price as his consciences. Macbeth the main character starts off as being very human; he is actually a war hero. Shakespeare uses evidence throughout the play to show the evolution of the main character Macbeth.

Macbeth’s initial impression was the fact that he was noble. In the beginning of the play, Duncan the former king of Scotland heard of the success of Macbeth and says “for brave Macbeth/ distaining fortune, with his brandished steel,/ which smoked with body exaction” (Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 18-20) and awards him a title of being “Thane of Cawdor.” Shakespeare portrays Macbeth as a great solider with a pure heart, for example Macbeth says “If chance will have me king why chance may crown me without my stir” (Act 1, Scene 4, Lines 157-159). The second is, "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be King hereafter!" (Act 1, Scene 3, Line 50). He loses his human characteristics of conscience and remorse. But later on the in the play Macbeths character foil takes charge since feeling threatened by Banquo since he was aware of the witches prophecy. Lady Macbeth finds out about the predictions, and drives Macbeth's ambition even harder. s great full for having a title and being rewarded.

The decisions Macbeth made transformed him into becoming nihilistic. This show of Shakespeare portrays people as if they were innocent but naturally are evil. Macbeth's change from human to killer is his own doing. He goes crazy and starts yelling at the ghost and he realizes that he cannot change what he has done so he tries to ignore it.

Macbeth changes from being a great individual to becoming evil. Macbeth was placed in situation which he could not escape.

Macbeth transformation occurred when he meets the three witches and they tell him their prophecy of him becoming king. They say two things that begin Macbeth's transformed him into being evil. "All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cowdor!" (Act 1, Scene 3, Line 49) is the first thing that leads to the trail. After Macbeth killed Duncan he killed the King's guards, so no one could question them.
