Until the eighteenth century there had been such an economical condition which propped up agriculture and craft. Since all works were done by human force the production was merely enough for the countries themselves. Importation and exportation was weak. Business were under control of the kings, the sultans etc. and aristocrates. Moreover in some countries there was the pressure of religion. Such of these handicaps blocked the possibility of ideas about emerging of a business system which could deal with controlling and commanding of business. New energy sources like coal, steam machine, electricity and petroleum were started to use for fuel and mechanical power. New raw materials especially iron and steel became important. As a result of all those things the companies got bigger and they enlarge their businesses.
