geography

The greatest temperature ranges are between Timbuktu and Cape Town Timbuktu has the highest temperature and Cape town has the lowest. Timbuktu's highest temperature is in Mat and Cape towns lowest temperature is in June. This is because at this time of year the sun's energy is more available to Timbaktu. The Earth spins on a 23.5 degree axis.
The highest Temperatures are not found on the equator because the earth spins on a 23.5 degress axis
Timbaktu, Luanda and Akssa have their highest temperature in other months then July and August because of Lag of the seasons. The sun sends energy during may. By the time the atmosphere has absorbed the energy and released it as heat it is June.
The highest precipitation patterns are closer to the equator. This is because the rain cloudes form at the equator and spread out. They start to fall alittle before 23.5 degrees. There fore any thing past 23.5 degrees will not reseive much precipitation.
This is beacue far north and far south there will be very little precipitation because the clouds (air movement) fall before far south and north. The earth is always spinning around the sun and therefore at one time the south will bwe hotter than the north and at onether the north will be hotter than the south.
             2) The double peak occurs because the sun is in thoes areas for a longer period of time and therefore more solar energy is given off there. When the sun reaches the tropic of cancer and the tropics of capricorn, it stays there and then goes over those area just after staying there.
This is because of lag of the seasons. The sun's energy is collected in June. By the time the atmosphere has abosorbed it and given it off as heat it is July.
Daily temperature are coldest right after the sun comes up because of lag of the day. The sun's energy is just getting collected and none of it is being given off.
