In conclusion Satan came up against the almighty God only to be mightily knocked back down and trampled on by the children of GOD who know their authority in Christ. As illustrated in Milton’s epic:
Yet not for those,
Nor what the potent Victor in his rage
Can inflict, do I repent or change,
Lines 94-99
All is not lost; the unconquerable will,
And study of revenge, immortal hate,
And courage never to submit:
Lines 106-108
The bible also tells the enemy’s task:
The thief cometh not,
But for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
John 10:10
The enemy then tries to come against The Lord’s creations who he knows are supposed to carry the Glory of GOD. Satan is tormented, according to Milton, by a lasting pain and lost of happiness but in my opinion Satan’s torment is that fact that what he was in heaven he no longer is. So the enemy decided to wage futile war against The Lord GOD. Satan’s heart was out of order from the beginning (Isaiah 14:14); the Archenemy’s thoughts were that he was and wanted to be acknowledged as, equal the Most High GOD. The demonic fiend then vowed to never to repent and always to be contrary to the will of GOD.
As a consequence of the apostate Angel’s mutinous actions he immediately was cast out of heaven with the angels he corrupted (Line 44-49 & Isaiah 14:15).
