             Every person has a different view on the usage of anabolic steroids. Anabolic steroids are drugs. They enhance your physical performance. They have many good effects. However, they also have some very harmful side effects. Body builders take these risks when they use steroids. I believe people should not use anabolic steroids to enhance their performance.
             Steroids are a manufactured version of the hormone called testosterone. (Davidson) The full name is androgenic anabolic steroids. Testosterone controls the male sexual organs.(Steroids) It also regulates the development of bones and muscle, promotes skin and hair growth, and can influence emotions. In males, the testes and the adrenal gland produce testosterone. Women have a lot less testosterone than me have. Adrenal glands in women make testosterone. The average adult male naturally produces 2.5 to 11 milligrams of testosterone daily.              Olympic Games when the athletic managers discovered the athletes from Russia and some East European nations, who dominated the games, had taken large doses of steroids.
             A Danger Abound Steroids fool the body into thinking that testosterone is being produced. The body, thinking the body has enough testosterone, stops bodily functions using testosterone, so things like bone growth stop. The ends of long bones fuse together, resulting in stunted growth. Steroids have many fatal side effects.
