Lowering the legal drinking age to 18I. Many kids and teens under the age of 21 drink alcohol illegally. Infact, 32% of underage people, compared to only 24% of people at a legal age drink at all. Why is it that there are more underage drinkers then there are legal? Is it because of the effects alcohol has on the body? It most cases no, that's not why. II. So why do many teenagers drink? They do it simply because they aren't 2. seen as a forbidden fruit and a badge of rebellion against authority, (major reason they drink) 3. educated on how to drink responsibly, but not allowed to 4.
