Police Hatings

             Why is it in today's society that Police officers are always seem to be harassing teens in our local community? It is a very common stereotype of today. Teenagers have somehow earned the wrap of being violent and irresponsible, but that is simply not the case. All they would like to be able to do is go out on a Friday or Saturday night without having to worry about the cops following them through town directly on the end of our cars: without the cops running them off from the parking lots when all they are doing is talking to our friends: without having the cops shine their flashlights in our cars while they are parked looking for alcohol and drugs. "This has got to come to a stop".
             Many teenagers have been pulled over for no reason or maybe because all the cop was trying to do was to look for alcohol and drugs.
             " One time a teenager was just sitting in his car after a football game and a policeman asked him to step out of his car, and when the teenager started asking him questions like " why and how can you do this"? The cops reply was very rude and discourteous towards the teenager, " It would be best if you shut up, and I don't need your smart punk questions" while there were five other cops sitting there watching. There is absolutely no reason for this because all this teen was doing was sitting in the school parking lot after the game".
             A policeman was contacted to work a small fender bender at a store. The teenager was assumed to be drinking just because he ( who wishes to remain anonymous) had backed into a car who had pulled in behind him while talking to someone. When the cop arrived, he said he smelled alcohol when there was none present. He even called another cop to come down with a breathalizer, which measures the alcohol content on your breath.
