Alive in Souls
Rock’n Roll is still alive!! It is belived that it died by the end of 1960’s but it wasn’t. The feelings, the ideas that Rock’n Roll was representing are still living in people’s souls. Like freedom and sex. But it is hard to say that it is living as a type of music. Sounds of music changed too much from 1960’s to nowadays. To understand Rock’n Roll era, we have to define what is music.Music is the arrangement of sounds in pleasant tunes. But not only the well-combined tunes, it also has big effects on people’s minds, emotions and even on physical bodies. And this is the reason why the music is so important and effective on people’s lifes. Music represents so many ideas that have direct effects on people’s minds. Love, hate, war, peace, sex, freedom, religion… And I think it is the most important thing about music. It can easily affect people and it is the best way to do it. As a result music is more and more powerful and important than it seems. This makes sense why the music market is so huge and productive and why there is an evil race between the m . . .
It is nothing more than nostalgic records in our music archives. After the death of Elvis, there was nobody to make Rock’n Roll alive as a type of music. The America of fifties and sixties was too complicated. So they attacked in all directions! But the most destructive attack was made to the leader of Rock’n Roll, Elvis Presley, by capitalism. Destroying the taboos of American culture brought some problems to deal with. They didn’t want people who were questioning their lifes. After the Second World War, America developed too fast as a victorious country. In this view Rock’n Roll was something beyond the music that made it spiritually immortal. People were sleeping like sheeps and saw a perfect America dream. People started to wake up and saw what’s going on. And the powers, which controlled the society, never wanted something or somebody awaken them. Due to that they started to look for their real personal identities. They gave him so much money that he drowned in money! He started to not satisfy from his life and looked for something different like using drugs. But some people were in opposition to this life. As a result monotonous life period started in America.
