Internationally respected poet, writer and educator, Maya Angelou has changed the lives of thousands through her writings and personal offerings. My favorite piece by Maya Angelou is “Phenomenal Woman.” She reveals her self-confidence, style and inner strength of her femininity. She is true to herself and I respect her for that. She knows she is not perfect and she goes against the fashion magazine beauty. She knows she is not a Barbie doll, but that is why she is so beautiful.
