             Why did the British and French bring the Israelis into the Suez Crisis?
             During 1956 Nasser Gamal, the great people's leader of Egypt plan for improving living standards in Egypt by constructing the Aswan dam. This plan was rejected by the US led World Bank because it breached their own interest in the area. Therefore, president Nasser took the Suez Canal from the Anglo-French company to fund for this great project. The nationalization of the Suez Canal by the Egyptian government in 1956 symbolized the up lifting of the facade to nearly a century of western oppression, humiliation, extortion and exploitation in the land of the Great Pyramids.
             "Four years ago, right here, Farouk fled from Egypt. Today, in the name of the people I am taking charge of our company: this evening our Egyptian Canal will be run by Egyptians!"
             On 26 July 1956, President Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal. Hitherto, the defense of the canal had been Britain's responsibility. The British Prime Minister, Anthony Eden, was outraged by Nasser's move as the Canal holds such vital importance for them to exploit the oils supplies in the Middle East. After several months of fruitless negotiation with Egypt to restore international control of the canal, he began to make devious plans with France to seize the canal from the people Egypt.
             The French were particularly interested in some form of Israeli participation in the military side of the operation. Israel accepted the plan because it was frustrated with the powerful retaliation that was made by the Palestinian people from Gaza and Jordan via attacking Israeli target and protecting their strait of Tiran from Israeli shipping. Furthermore, Israel desires to gain more territory from this invasion. Thus, the three parties made a decision to join force, it was known as the Collusion.
