There were many causes that aided and led to the death of Romeo and Juliet. One obvious reason was the feud between the Montegues and the Capulets. A second , but equally important cause was the interference of others. The last important cause was a variety of mistakes. These all were important factors which caused the deaths of Romeo and Juliet.
The feud between families played a large part in the death of the two lovers. Since Romeo had the last name of Montague and Juliet had the last name of Capulet, they had to visit secretly. They could not tell anyone of their love. Juliet even said it herse

Since Tybalt did not know this, he challenged Romeo to a duel which is why Romeo was banished. Interference of others also caused the deaths. Since Tybalt killed Mercutio, Romeo killed Tybalt which resulted in the banishment of of Romeo. There were many mistakes that caused Romeo and Juliet’s deaths. One very important mistake was made by Mercutio. Those causes included interferences, mistakes, and the feud. This leads to the next mistake made by Romeo which was to fight Tybalt. And when Romeo and Juliet wanted to die, the friar helped them do it by telling them what to do. The largest interference was Friar Lawrence. She stated, “ Why must you be a Montague?” Since the families were in a feud, Romeo and Juliet couldn’t marry openly. She enabled Juliet to keep her marriage a secret by not telling Lord and Lady Capulet. His mistake was when he fought Tybalt. The war between last names severely hampered the marriage and finally led to death. Another interference was the nurse.
