Evolution -- refuting
Many factors contribute to the idea of gradual speciation, but all fall under the same theory of evolution. Webster defines evolution as "the theory that groups of organisms change drastically and smoothly with passage of time, mainly as a result of natural selection or chance, so that descendants differ morphologically and physiologically from their ancestors". With regard to the theory, one must consider the facts that are certain to refute the concept. Disproving the theory of Evolution has nothing to do with the validity of creationism (a god created the earth) or the Bible, but rests solely on the authenticity of the evidence the theory puts forth. To understand evolution, a non-believer must outline what he/she would expect from the theory, listen to the evidence, then offer an explanation of why sufficient evidence is not produced and try to interpret why believers stay with the theory. In order to convince one of the validity of the theory, the listener must know what to expect for the theory to "be true". Evolution violates what we as people think about the world. Evolutionists are "guilty until proven innocent" and will continue to be so as long as their evidence is insubstantial. Scientists have found many fossils that show this evolution. Later in the year when water is abundant again, the size of the beak shrinks back to its normal size. This evidence must be such that cannot be disproved, or it is invalid. (Hunter) Although these are great truths that contribute to the idea that evolution is valid, they are not evidence for the authenticity of the theory as evolutionists say they are. The Scientist publicized on May 24, 1999, that the peppered moth had adapted its color to the suit-covered trees in Chicago.
