childrens books

The age group that I selected is first grade. I read 10 books that were suggested with the reading level for this age group. They are books that have a lot of pictures so that the children are able to associate the words with the pictures easily. The pictures were very detailed with some funny one's which helped add humor. The sentences also had a rhyming pattern, which will help the children associate the language to the pictures. In this book, and along with most of the others, the font is big and there isn't more than one sentence on a page. This book is probably appropriate for kindergarteners or first graders.
I also read the book called Bruno's Birthday. This book by Marcia Vaughan is also eight
