Pearl Jam Invades New Orleans

Due to the fact that I am an enormous music lover, it is anything but irrelevant thatI have a favorite band. That band without a doubt is Pearl Jam. The songs Pearl Jam writeare so real, that it makes perfect sense why their fans love them so much. Pearl Jam'ssongs tell stories that their fans can either relate to or speak from their own dealings. Ledby lead singer Eddie Vedder's outstanding lyrical writing and extremely powerful andintense, yet comforting voice, Pearl Jam in my opinion is the greatest band in the world. A week before seeing my sophomore Pearl Jam show, my girlfriend of a little overa year decided it would be best if we broke up. Seeing that I did not agree with her, itmade it a little hard looking forward to seeing Pearl Jam for their August 14th show inNew Orleans. It did not take long however to be swept into the depths of the emotionalwaters, and found myself listening to Pearl Jam and Eddie Vedder's lyrics over and overagain and again. In his voice, I once again found the median to survive, and not just tosurvive, but to keep going strong, an

To put the three hours of happiness I felt during the actually Pearl Jamperformance shortly; it was amazing. Well, seeing that as being out of thequestion, I gave the extra ticket to my remaining roommate Jennifer. Smelling the putrid, fairlike smell of New Orleans, we quickly wentback inside, and waited for the show to begin. Eddie came out on stage wearing an oldarmy jacket, with a ratty white T-shirt underneath, and some cream colored khakis on. Pearl Jamcontinues to have my admiration and trust, and I cannot wait until I can experience thepowerful and intense experience they present again. The band performed all the songs perfectly, whileadding just enough roughness and extra intensity to each one, to perfectly fit my mood. Hetruly resembled "The Dude" from The Big Lebowski. I can honestly say that New Orleans makes me sick, and not mean it meanly towardsthe city in any way. To sum up the experience, Pearl Jam once again displayed how they can changelives, along with healing them, in order to make a good thing great. The top of the stage was linedwith countless numbers of lights. The inside of New Orleans Arena was quitea spectacle. With the extreme extortion and colorful lyrics, the show was a huge success, and alsomade my entire house Pearl Jam fans for life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**.
