Communication means a lot of things. It can be the words you speak with, the clothes you wear, the music you listen to or the people you associate with. There are "social systems" at work, at all times. All of your actions and choices are governed by whatever your system(s) dictates. This communication in the form of a written paper is a standard in society and has been for hundreds, thousands of years. Making use of that system is at the hands of the operator. To waste it would be a shame, and to use it is a treasure. Effectiveness is a term used to describe the value of our communication with others. We will be required to do this all of our lives and by increasing our skills it can only make this process easier down the road. I more than many people, have trouble speaking in a group. When we share our ideas we want to do it in a concise and clear way. The speaker speaking under both of these conditions, efficiency and effectiveness, will generally be successful assuming there is the will to communicate. It makes it difficult to become more effective when there is less speaking and listening happening. It is the role of the speaker to satisfy, and fulfill the needs of the listener. You can be better at talking to yourself which is really a benefit because it changes your ideas and refines your attitude. Good communication skills can even make a great difference in your personal life. ------------------------------------------------------------------------**Bibliography**. Efficiency is the ability to make a point with without being too "wordy" or long winded. A person may know something that is real to them, by being an effective speaker they can make it real for the listener. By becoming a more effective communicator we can appeal to a wider variety of listeners.
