Teachers and the banking system

             Education is a key ingredient in a person's life. It is necessary for the completion of one's journey called life. True, some can do without it, but to be a more prepared person it is best recommended that you have completed your studies. Among this system that we call "education" are its principal functionaries which are "teachers". Teachers are defined in the dictionary as "one who teaches", which leads us to look up another word which is "teach", "to show or to help (a person), to give lessons to (a student), to provide with knowledge". So, that is what teachers are supposed to do. But are teachers these days being as efficient as we expect? Should we place our trust completely into those we are putting our children's minds at stake?
             There are good teachers and bad teachers. I, as a student, have had the opportunity of having many teachers and I have seen good and bad sides of teachers, which is a good thing because you realize that they are like us, human. But what makes a good teacher, good and a bad teacher, bad?
             A truly good teacher gives you education and also teaches you about life, which is what Mrs. Mercado did for me. She made me tolerant to other people's opinions, she taught me how to communicate, she also taught me a lot of Shakespeare and Poe. We had our differences but that made our relationship grow. When it came to education, she made us do a lot of critical thinking and, of course, write a lot of essays. She never set us a limit, even if we wanted to act out a play in the classroom she would let us, as long as it was in the line of what we were teaching.
             Another teacher who was not so great, was Mrs. Gonzalez. She was what you would call a real pain, because she would constantly yell and say profanities, she once told a student to stick their tongue someplace unmentionable. It wasn't a pretty experience being in her classroom. She...
