Eutopea

Is there such a thing as a perfect world or society? Is it out there waiting to teach and improve our quality of life? I claim to have seen one and can tell you of all its wonderful details first hand. My story starts during my summer break many years ago. I was flying to Casta Rica for a vacation with my family. Suddenly the plane started to shake and I could sense we were out of control and descending very rapidly. We were over ocean somewhere in the Carribean, later I found that it had been the Bermuda Triangle. The plane violently came to a crashing halt as it blew apart on impact. I was knocked unconscious and can only remember being hurled toward the front of the plane. I awoke with a very cold wet feeling and soar lungs of sea water. As I whipped the salty sand from my eyes, I noticed that it was high noon. More importantly I was alive and on land, in fact a beautiful beach of black sand. I first noticed that there were other foot prints, fresh in this sand!. I followed the prints and found them to lead to a great lush wood. Along the beach I found bones that appeared to be human, I was not worried much, but of more interest there were diamonds scattered about the path carelessly. I pi

I entered the building and found myself in a large light room. Rather than investigate and change the world, they explored themselves. It was a brilliant white with a green hue, and in the center of the large square room was a young man. The society is telepathic due to this herbal supplement as well. This was not because they did not have advanced science, but because there was never a need for it in their society. One's health and happiness also seem very secure. In this society there is no money. This is equivalent to execution because without the town they have no supply for the elixir and therefore cannot survive. Some choose to have children and t!o die young. There are little individualities, and all houses and rooms are the same. There is private property but it is all very much the same. The particular flower I wore in my shirt must have shown the guards !of my respect for their culture and saved me from execution like the others. Anyone that takes the elixir will never have children, however everyone when of age is given the choice of immortality or productivity. Within the society there is a great feeling of security, but there are very few material things to secure. Rather, they seemed very fascinated with the flower in my front shirt pocket.
