Foregone dream
When I was young, I was dreaming to play football. I imagined that I was a striker and scored a lot of goals. When I went to school, I was playing with my classmates. We could play it until evening. I asked my PE teacher whether there was a football team in Bishkek. He said no. At that moment I realized that I would never play football seriously. My dream would never come true... But I was mistaken...One day I had a quarrel with my mother, and after that I decided to go for a walk. I didn't want to stay at home. Near our house there is a canal. It was my favourite place when I was a child. I went there. And when I came there, I didn't believe my eyes. There was a pitch and girls were playing football there! My dream was only 15 minutes from me!!! I noticed that time was about 3p.m. and I decided to return there the next day and ask their coach to take me to their team.All that day I was so excited; I knew that my dream was going to come true: I would play football! I didn't tell anyone about this football team. I wanted to come back the next day home and say: "Mum, I was playing football!"The next day I came to the pitch. There was a training session again. My aim was to become a good striker, so I tried to train hard. And I think I wasn't ready to play against those teams. I think I shall never be able to forgive them for that. And that was the problem for all young girls. It was our best game of the season and also my best game. And they had begun training here only one month before. "Azalia" was the only team in Kyrgyzstan, so it was considered also as the National Team of Kyrgyzstan. There were two teams: the senior team and the junior team. But it's so difficult to play one kind of sport while you like another. I trained every day with my junior team and two or three times a week with the senior team. You can understand it when you are in this situation.
