Ceasar

             Julius Caesar was a man who took a falling city and made it in to a glorious empire. Caesar did many things that we still use today and that helped shape the western world as we know it today. Those things include many reforms that changed the city of Rome and in changing the city of Rome and its way of thinking Caesar would change western civilization forever. His marvelous victories in battle not only spread Rome's Empire but helped civilize the world he brought Romanization and civilization to uncivilized people. Along with Caesars views on politics that counties used to set the foundations of there country through out history. Caesar has done a lot to shape the western world.
             Before Caesar's Empire Rome was stuck in a rut they were still treating the overseas colonies with no respect. They were only giving the privilege of the roman citizen to a select few wealthy families in these lands. Caesar would have none of this he spoke out for the common people of these lands demanding that they too should be able to share the privileges of a Roman citizen. Caesar started an early form of human rights laws and he fought for the people of these lands and started his foreign polices. Caesar's Legislation stated that any colony with a sufficient number of Roman settlers in that colony the colonies people would be granted citizenship status and would be protected from and be able to speak out against corrupt rulers that saw over them . This also has to do with the rights of the people which people did not have many in the ancient world. There are also inklings to when the colonies of America stood up against its corrupt tyrannical rulers. Caesars other policies included increasing the amount of the senators replacing the ones that were killed in the civil war.
