The Cask of Amontillado

The story "The Cask of Amontillado" contains various types of ironies, such as: verbal, situational and dramatic. These types of ironies are defined as follows :Irony is the difference between what is said what is implied, verbal irony, between what is expected to happen and what happens or what appear to be and what is, situational irony, and between what one knows and what one does not know, dramatic irony.
