             The very controversial issue of abortion has been in the spotlight of the media for many years. Countless cases have gone to court, and activists are now fighting for the rights of the innocent, the rights of the unborn. Anti-abortion groups fight the seemingly overpowering battle through their words and actions. Through emotional and religious appeals, pro-lifers try to sway the opinion of would be a parent.
             Glory by association is used by pro-lifers in the media. Pro-lifers such as presidential elects and even President Clinton have associated themselves with abortion views. Although their views may not be the same on the subject, they are all trying to appeal to the crowd that seems the largest and will give them the most power. President Clinton is pro-choice; he feels that the decision of abortion should be that of the parents, and should be a private decision. "Clinton has vetoed the legislation twice before and, insisting the bill contain a provision to allow the procedure when a woman's 'health' is at stake."
             Pro-lifers are currently attacking the issue of when abortions are performed. Abortions can be performed at any time during the nine-month pregnancy. Partial-birth abortions are performed during the last months, and even weeks before estimated due date. To obtain a personal view on partial-birth abortions I interviewed my dad. Although my father doesn't attend church on a regular basis, he is a very religious man. I described what partial birth abortions were and I then asked him what his view was on the subject. This was his reply:
             "It is like the story of the man who offers a woman ten dollars to have sex with him. She outraged that he would ask her such a thing and is very insulted. The man then offers her one thousand dollars to have sex with him. This time she is mortified. She threatens to turn him into
