Thesis: Jim Jones and Joseph Smith are alike in many ways.There are many similarities between Jim Jones and Joseph Smith; however, there are also differences and no conclusions shall be made until both have been considered. Jones is the greatest mass murderer in American history. Joseph Smith once led a swarm of 300 individuals on a prolonged, vain trek, in order for their faithfulness to be tested.
